Hello, darlings! I have a update to share with all

Hello, darlings!
I have a update to share with all of you.

Recent events as they are, I will be extending my socials hiatus until January. Though I only intended it to be during the Yamim Nora’im to focus on spiritual renewal, I’ve had a death in the family. This unexpected loss has been devastating for us. I need time to grieve and process this away from all the noise, so as the holiday season continues, I’m going to spend it focusing on family and friends and enjoying life because that’s what they would have wanted. With the uncertainty in our post-election climate, I know it’s even more necessary.

That said, I have plenty of book reviews to share between now and the end of the year, so I’ll be here weekly to at least share those! (Though I will be taking off two weeks entirely to celebrate my fifth anniversary at the end of December.)

Fiction Fridays will have to wait until January, too, I’m afraid. Even though I have two shorts lined up, my heart is too heavy to fully move on—I need time. I am busying myself with MS edits, though, so hopefully come next year, I’ll be query ready!

So stay tuned. Stay safe. I’ll be back soon. 💜

Today I finished my own first draft of my Purim mu

Today I finished my own first draft of my Purim murder mystery. It feels like such a huge accomplishment (because it is) and the best way to end the year.

Now, it’s time to enter Shabbat and the New Year, i.e. #RoshHashanah, next week, and I have all the #jewishromance and #jewishfantasy to keep me company while I step away to reset during the holidays.

Best part is I have my new reading journal from @papier to keep track of everything while I take some time off to enjoy the chagim.

I return in a month, and I’ll have some exciting new reads to share!!

Shabbat shalom! Shanah tovah u’metukah! Gmar chatima tovah! And most of all: Chag Sameach!!!!

Have you ever heard of FL-41 lenses? Me either. That is until I asked my optometrist what I could wear to help my light sensitivity as a #neurodivergent person.

Turns out, rose tinted glasses are for more than seeing the world differently! They can help block out the majority of the light spectrum that causes photosensitivity, even help reduce migraines!

Essentially it’s like wearing noise-cancelling headphones, but for your eyes. Their rosy tint helps block out the 480-520nm wavelengths which are found in sunlight, LEDs, computer screens, and more.

I bought mine almost immediately, and not just because I have a thing for pink. 😉 Now I can spend my days in the office and not suffer.

So I thought I’d share my new knowledge so other neurodivergents might benefit! Share to spread the word!
